2026, The Year of Great Intercession.

By the help of God, 2026 shall be a year of Great Intercession. God spoke to me about this matter. The basic understanding of intercession is to stand in the gap for somone or on the behalf of someone/people. In the matters of spiritality, we talk of intercession as praying to God on the behalf of someone/people concerning a particlar matter/s.

So in whatever way we choose to view it, intercession has to do with coming to the rescue for someone. Sometimes the one who is the intercessor may also have causes in his life for which he needs to be rescued, but because the matter of intercession is not one borne of convenience, neither is it one borne of comfort: men actually arise to the occassion despite they themselves having infirmities. We must rise to the occassion. 

The intercessor becomes who he is because he is at a better position to be so in that moment. Moments changes, situations changes but the mind of the intercessor must always remain fixed.

What is the focus of our intercession?

People. People makes up a Family, people makes up a village, people makes up a city, people makes up a state, likewise people makes up a nation. We must greatly rescue people in this year 26.

By what means?

Every means available at our disposal, that God has given to us as an advantage.

In every intercession there are 3 factors in play: The intercessor, the one being interceeded for and the Greater One who is being interceeded to. The Greater One hears our supplication by providing a means to rescue the one being interceeded for.

Methodology

With the mind of rescuing people, we shall seek to force doors open by utilizing the Biblical principle of Proverbs 18:16 BSB, "A man’s gift opens doors for him,..."

We will utilize both material and spiritual giftings as the case may be, to rescue men out of darkness into the glorious liberty in Christ.

•  From 10-01-2026, We will begin to raise up altars in homes and environments for physical prayer meetings. We have often said by the Spirit, "Prayer meeting is coming to a place near you", now is the time to make it a reality. Once every week, physical prayer meetings will be conducted in a particular location. Location will change from time to time, but we must by every means possible erect altars of prayers from place to place...We shall explore every means possible to make this a reality, so that men and women will be stirred up to reach out to the God of all possibilities. (This is a Core mandate)

• Schools will be visited with material giftings (in form of books, scholarships, academic materials etc), opening the door to gospel ministerations in the form of prayers and exhortation... Outreach to other forms of institutions will follow similar pattern.

•  Every month, Vocational training programs will be organised for adults. This will be done with the mindset of equipping people with the right knowledge and tools to succeed and survive in today's economy. This trainings will also open doors for gospel ministrations, prayers, counselling and discipleship. When Jesus told some disciple "Follow me, I will make you fishers of men", he likened the gospel work to fishing. When you fish, you need a bait for the fishes to be captured. These activities serves such purpose as a bait.

• Starting from the month of February, our daily devotional (Mount Olives Encounter) will commence both in print and digital format. We will gradually and strategically plant the word of God in family altars, setting men and women up for encounters with Jesus. This will also be a point of contact to people of all class.

•  We will seek to build our Youtube page this year by improving uploads rate, pushing out gospel contents and gaining more subscribers. This is very important because Youtube is a very strategic platform to reach more people.

•  With the goal of rescuing more people and also bring more to join us in prayers online, we will make more books and share across platforms. We will channel more efforts to inviting people to our daily online prayer meeting.

Other methods will be revealed in due time.

We will connect men and women to God under the principle that: 

All earthly things that we possess (both physical and spiritual) shall not be considered ours, but belonging to our Heavenly Father, and shall be held in trust by us to be used and directed by the wisdom of the Spirit of God, as the law of love of men as Christ loved them may dictate.
